We require a customer focused Service Advisor to join our small friendly service reception team. Whilst experience may be beneficial it is not essential as training will be given both in house and by our Franchise partner Mitsubishi Motors in the UK. The Service Department is a busy environment and you will be expected to provide first class customer service, have a “can do” attitude and be a great team player.
You will be responsible for dealing with customers who have booked their vehicle in with us for service and repair work, in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring the highest level of customer care.
You will need to ensure accurate completion of loan vehicle agreement including customer signature and agree service, repair, diagnosis work and booking of vehicles into our workshop. It will be necessary to carry out inspections of vehicles when they are both checked in and checked out with us.
You will need to monitor progress of vehicles through the workshop to ensure promised delivery times are achieved. It is important that you can communicate effectively with customers both face to face and on the telephone, in order to obtain customer approval for any additional work required.
You will create and present invoices to the customers for payment, together with providing an explanation of charges. You will also be required to explain procedures where work has been covered by warranty or goodwill. You will need to be aware to the legal implications involving the service and repair of vehicles and payment thereof.
You will maintain Customer Record Files and Job sheets on a daily basis to ensure accurate analysis of Service Department activity and to adhere to all service department processes and procedures.
You will maintain our database management system, including;
a) Contacting the customers before and following service or repair work to ensure satisfaction.
b) Giving customers regular updates on progress of claims.
c) Follow up of customers not seen for long periods to demonstrate continued interest in their requirements.
You will handle all payments made by the customer and process them accordingly.
It will be important that you maintain up to date knowledge of Service Procedures to ensure any claims are processed fairly and as quickly as possible. You will be expected to comply with all the Quality Standards agreed within the dealership and to have personal responsibilities for the application of the dealerships Policy and Procedure.
This is a full-time permanent vacancy based at our Mitsubishi dealership in Norwich.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm – Sat 8.30am to 12.30pm on a rota basis.
Salary dependent on experience.
